Mrs. Sara Pena

I am so excited to be part of the Hartman family as the Academic Trainer. 

I've been and educator for over 14 years with 12 of those being in Judson ISD. I began my career as a 4th grade teacher in Houston, TX before moving to San Antonio where I joined the Judson ISD family. I taught at Kirby Middle School for 2 years then moved to Spring Meadows Elementary where I taught 4th grade for 6 years. This year marks my 4th year at Hartman Elementary

I received my Bachelor's degree from LeTourneau University in 2009, my Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Houston in May of 2020, and will be graduating with my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in December 2024. 

In my spare time, I love reading, long distance running, and crafting. 

I'm looking forward to working with Hartman students, parents, and staff this school year!
